On 25th November 2013, Eagle One and Blue Cedar Homes moved into their prestigious new Headquarters on Exeter Science Park.

The contemporary design, undertaken by LHC Architects, provides for some 11,054 sq ft of net useable space (1026 m2) arranged over two floors together with an ‘undercroft’ to accommodate a range of supporting facilities including storage and plant room areas. Eagle One and Blue Cedar Homes occupy the first floor with the ground floor being occupied by Blur Group Plc. The three quarters of an acre site is situated at the southern entrance to the ‘street’ serving this 1st phase and provides for 30 car spaces within a landscaped setting.

The building has achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘excellent’ and has also been awarded an A rated energy performance certificate (EPC).

The property was the winner of the ‘British Council for Offices Regional Award for Best Project under 2000 m² 2015.

The Science Park campus, which provides for 76,000 sq metres of development in total, forms the gateway to the Exeter and East Devon Growth Point. It is set to be one of the most significant investments in the South West’s rapidly expanding knowledge economy, supporting the growth and diversification of the Exeter area economy through the development of knowledge based businesses, capitalising on links with the University of Exeter, the Peninsula Medical School and the Met Office.

Eagle House was also awarded “Commercial Project of the year under £5 million” at the Michelmores / Western Morning News Property awards.
