Surf-wear brand making waves at The Valley

British surfwear retailer Saltrock has opened it’s doors at The Valley. The new store opening follows an exemplary trading period at the scheme. Visitor spend is soaring and footfall is flourishing, both above pre-lockdown figures. The Valley’s plentiful outdoor space both in the shopper area and country park is proving a favourable combination for people looking to venture out safely.

Saltrock was born in 1998 by two surfing brothers, Angus and Ross Thomson who used a homemade printing screen and sold their designs from the back of their Austin Allegro. Over 30 years later, the brand remain passionately true to their heritage and are still producing surf-inspired designs in Devon.

Emily Burton, Retail Commercial Manager at The Valley, comments:

“The arrival of Saltrock, provides our shoppers with even more choice in outdoor lifestyle clothing at fantastic prices. As we continue to move out of the pandemic, it’s great to welcome new stores in the heart of our latest exciting phase of development.”
