#TeamValley all set for Evesham Cyclefest 2017

Team Valley showed off their brand new cycling colours today in preparation for this weekend's 2017 Evesham Cyclefest.

The Valley plays host to the Mountain Bike Challenge on Saturday.

If you can pedal (and if we hear that there are balance bike riders who would like a go, we'll run a race just for them), you can take part on this grass track through the orchards here at The Valley.
Registration starts at 9, with events for the under 18's in the morning, adults in the afternoon. Last year our smallest riders were 5, and Evesham Cyclefest aim to make this a super inclusive event that's safe and fun for everyone.
Not that the course isn't a challenge for the older categories - you are going to have to work hard for your prize!

Everyone who takes part gets a medal, thanks to the businesses at The Valley we have prizes in each class, and there are trophies!

Sunday sees the attention switch to Evesham Esplanade and the series of sportive events. A team from the Valley have entered into the '101-mile romp' event which is to be led out by Olympic Gold Medal Winner Chris Boardman.
